eBay watch: Atoms to Risc PCs

Posted by Andrew Duffell on 17:03, 8/1/2005 | , , , ,

ebayIt's a long time since we have done an eBay watch, so here goes... eBay has been fairly quiet over Christmas and new year, but it is starting to pick up again, and there are plenty of RISC OS bargins to be had.
Top of the list today is a 233MHz StrongARM Risc PC with four days remaining. It is currently at 122UKP, but with the faster processor and 11A PSU it will probably rise further. The same seller is also selling an A4 laptop.
A rare occurence of the locking pins for the Risc PC case ends on Monday, so if you have lost of broken any of yours then this is an ideal replacement.
Finally, there is a 23 year old Acorn Atom brochure pack from 1982 containing a order form, price list booklet, and Acorn computer systems booklet currently sitting at 99p.
As always, Buyer Beware!
