  • Angband
For all you angbandaholics there are two important updates this week, courtesy of Antony Sidwell. sCthangband 1.0.18 has had its zipfile fixed, and NPPAngband 0.4.0 has had its crash-causing bug fixed. Both these and many other Angband ports are available from Antony's site.

  • Soft Rock Software going offline
Vince Hudd has updated the Soft Rock website with a statement saying that for the next few days or weeks he won't have access to the Internet, and so will be unable to update the Soft Rock website or answer your emails. Barring any hosting problems the site should still remain, but don't expect to be able to contact Vince through it until he makes his next update.

  • SPatience updated
Phillipe Donsback has released a new version of !SPatience, his card game behemoth. Version 1.28 has an improved manual, an improved scripting language (To code your own patience variants), and comes with 360 variants of patience for you to play.

  • Desktop Repton PLUS
Desktop Repton PLUS is now available to buy, at the cost of £20.95 for a CD-ROM or £12.95 by email. There is also a very limited special offer, which for £39.95 will bag you Desktop Repton PLUS, Repton 1 and 2 for the PC, and a Repton mug and badge. The mugs are the original Repton 3 mugs (Now almost 20 years old), and furthermore only 3 are available - so if you're a big Repton fan you had better get a move on. Full details on both offers are available here and here.

Finally there has also been a bugfix released for version 4 of Desktop Repton PLUS. You can obtain it here from the Alligata Group website. Versions 4.1 and above do not suffer from this bug.
